Tank Idea

Just wondering for USA doctrine Armor or close combat why don't you guys do a leopard 2 tank they are VERY successful tanks,and instead have an Abram on armor them close combat why not a leopard 2 ?:)????they would be cool to see in game :). Just a thought :-/...

That is a German tank, that has not seen service in the US Army. It probably will never see service, because the Americans already have a battle hardened tank, the Abrams M1A2.

we are only developing units that are commonly seen in service across the different theaters, rather than prototype equipment.

Oh quick question are you guy's going to size up damage done by MG's,MG on vehicles,Tanks, etc.... because it EXTREMELY unrealistic that MG's do so little damage!!:p.Another thing is strafing runs,you all are doing a A-Warthog straff just wondering if you are going to size up damage done by that to, because the original COH's straff is kinda useless since it's 150 mun and it only pins people! :-(

not true in the least. It pins and mainly kills, depending on how many targets you have in the box. Full info on the matter here:

We will adapt the strafing run to be effective but not an instant killer, since that would break balance. Don't worry about other things such as MGs we will make sure it is releastic to an extent as long as gameplay value is not lost.

Expect videos when they are done, and expect the game when it is done :) no release dates are given to avoid disappointment and the possibility of deadline not being met.

I have to correct my friend, sorry. But MG's in CoH fulfill the role of a supression tool to deny territory. For gameplay reasons we cannot give it more damage, cause this would combine supression and damage.

For gameplay reasons we cannot give it more damage, cause this would combine supression and damage.That is true..I'ts just thought that whenever I play COH and I have a MG in a alley or so it should stop most inf and kill but they just fire up!:confused:but I agree to not spoil gameplay!:) I guess it goes the same with vehicles to? Oh BTW not trying to be pesky about ideas and release dates!:)

You all forgot that Canada also uses the Leopard....the one Commonwealth Country that's tank is well....not as sweet as the M1 or Challanger 2 :/
