After having shot down a fast mover with a TOW I just have to conclude that the ATGMs need to be slowed down. I use them to shoot down helicopters all the time, even when they're moving perpendicular to me. It's funny, cause it feels like a SACLOS MANPADS such as the swedish RBS-70 which cannot be spoofed by flares :D.
It seems as the missiles travel almost as fast as n AP round. Slowing the ATGMs' speeds to a half or even one third of what it is now would make it feel more like a real ATGM, considering the BF scale, since these missiles are subsonic in real life anyway. I could see this having three effects: Tracking a moving ground target becomes easier, target has more time to take cover and/or return fire, and taking out moving aerial targets would be more of a lucky shot. Taking out hovering helicopters should still be relatively easy, but not when they're at speed.
